About the Don CossackChoir Russia

The Don KosakenChor Russland was founded in 1992, after the then President Yeltsin gave permission to grant Cossack status as a corps. in 1999 the choir celebrated its first lustrum and was awarded "Army Choir of the Great Don Army" status. In 2000 and 2005, the choir performed in the White House in Moscow. These concerts made for a spectacular breakthrough in Europe with sold-out venues everywhere. Many European television channels reported on this special performance, including NOS-Journaal, RTL-Deutschland and RTL-Nederland.
